Neville King has stepped down as the president of the Cranbourne GRC effective February 14 2015.
Until further notice Senior Vice President, Greg Carter, will be the acting President and will be fully supported by all committee and staff.
Greyhound Racing Victoria (GRV) has advised the club of all suspended trainers and these particular trainers cannot act in any form of official capacity at our club, or any other club
until due process and full investigations have been completed by GRV.
Obviously, the investigation process may take some time and we will be advised and guided by GRV during this process.
We hope all club members and the public understand that a due process has to be followed and the matters raised on the four corners program last evening have been referred to
the relative controlling authorities and police.
Our club does not condone or support actions of individuals involved in any form of animal cruelty, as highlighted in the four corners program and that’s our firm stance.
We trust this clearly explains the Cranbourne Greyhound Racing Clubs Inc position.
